I live in TPA and fly almost as much as you do. And I agree.

I usually get to the airport an hour before the flight and the longest wait time ever was 35-minutes. And that was on a Monday following a Bucks-Falcons game. I am floored to read of wait times north of 45-minutes. Never experienced any of that and love TPA for the ease of getting through security. LAS, LAX--different stories.
