In FRA, the AA club is landside, has showers, and belongs to Priority Pass. Even if you're not already a member, it could be convenient and more cost effective to join than to pay a hotel day rate at FRA.
However, if you're not already a PP member, the problem could be receiving the card in time for your trip. I'm not sure there's a way to print a new card on line and have it accepted or to simply join on site, at the lounge you want to use.
