I just called AMEX and positively confirmed the bonus offer on my application. They have expediated the card and once I receive it I will close the DL skymiles and ask them to transfer the credit line.. Lets see what happens.
Any success? I too have been told that Amex rejected a similar request saying it was against company policy.
