Dan Hammer and claisdb have just decided this subject matter may NOT be of interest to readers of Forums other than Northwest or News. Dan states he is 'confused'. (The NW surprise surprise I almost never read as I do not fly NW, but a very possible baggage rule change for my airline of choice DOES interest me. And others too it seems.)
