I'm not much of a wine drinker. I don't think my palate is very good or very educated. I've given up drinking it when flying as most of what I've been served on US Airlines is pretty bad. I used to choose red when I did, however.

That said, when I dine with my Father, one of my favorite parts of the meal is spliting a bottle of white with him. He usually picks an expensive bottle of California white and I always enjoy it.
