There's a time and place for all wines. For every glass of white that I drink, I usually drink 100 glasses of red. The ladies seem to have much more of a thing for white than us guys?
I prefer reds to whites but, like many other women I know, am prone to headaches after drinking some reds. IME, the quality of the wine has nothing to do with it.
So I'll drink a red wine on a special occasion, or having a nice dinner out, because the headache would have been worth it. Otherwise, if I am just drinking casually at home, it'll probably be a white wine.
Another issue: my husband and I can't stand red wines in the Summer. Just personal taste.
