A few minutes after posting the above, I went to Delta and was using the Book Award Ticket page when I suddenly got a message that my session had expired due to inactivity, even though I had been using it continually. Then a few minutes later, I started getting random error messages saying something like Discontinue ButtomBottom Disabled. Then I found that certain months on the flexible results screen would sometimes be greyed out at random for no apparent reason. Is there some kind of booby prize for worst designed and maintained airline web site?
LOL, that made me laugh! Seriously though, the award engine is full of error messages...they pop up EVERY tiome I use it.....my absolute favorite is "there are no flights scheduled for the dates you selected" for searchs like JFK-BKK or JFK-NRT
