I was actually wondering whether any central-American airline is heading towards *A... COPA seemed to be the most obvious candidate, when they withdrew from Skyteam association after CO moved to *A, moreover they are using the CO Onepass as their FFP - hence CM´s FFs earn *A miles, whereas *A FFs cannot enjoy the status benefits when eventually flying CM TACA would be another option, yielding Miles&More award miles, yet no news are heard about any future enlargements of *A after the two new airlines joined this year.
