We have enough Star Alliance miles to qualify for a first class award on both segments, but we have three people traveling, and Swiss only appears to release two first class award seats this far in advance.
Could you possibly tell me at what time prior to the departure date Swiss releases more first class cabin seats for award reservations? Thanks!

I'd recommend to book the 2 available F seats as soon as possible before someone else does.
For the third seat I would check back periodically. Perhaps once those two seats have been booked the LX revenue management will release some more later depending on the sales forecast.
If you cannot get the thrird seat in F try C or even a revenue ticket in C (which you could cancel should a third award F seat become available
)
