Also, it's relative time that we're comparing, not absolute time. If you want to compare absolute time then we all arrive at the airport hours ahead of departure anyway.

Relatively speaking the boarding time is considerably delayed because of these home-made BPs. The boarding at the gate is very smooth with airline BPs, and all of a sudden the agent had to stop, check a manifest, and then allow boarding, that breaks the flow. 1 or 2 is ok, but last time I was in line there were 7-8 of them. Needless to say the Y line finish way ahead of J line because of these self-printed BP, and J line had half the people as Y line.
