I freeze fruit quite often, but I them wash beforehand. Berries are pretty hard to wash after thawing without them falling apart. I usually peel bananas before throwing into the freezer - they make a great base for the smoothie and then I do not have to add ice.
I am pretty sure that the frozen fruits and vegetables from grocery stores are prewashed.
Yes, that is washing fruit that has not been frozen. The question is whether one washes FROZEN fruit.
