Just stayed at PH Hamburg this weekend and it was an excellent stay throughout as always. They have been very consistent with their friendly and attentive service. As others have mentioned rooms incl. equipment are great (i.e. B&O TV set), with regularly replenished L'Occitane bath amenities and complimentary still water.

Breakfast buffet is very nice with many choices even at the cost of 31 EUR per person although there are cheaper alternatives nearby.

With a room rate of 165 USD (Hyatt Premier cert., no bf) certainly one of the best luxury hotel bargains worldwide .

Parking in the vicinity of the hotel wasn't too bad during the weekend (no 'no parking' worries between Friday 6 p.m. until Monday 8 a.m.). There's a Deutsche Bahn parking garage nearby (5 min. walk, close to main railway station) called "BahnPark Huehnerposten" and "Parkhaus Hauptbahnhof Centrum" offering a parking fee of 3 EUR for 8 hrs, and 4 EUR for 24 hrs. It's open to enter between 7 or 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily (contrary to info here, see P1: http://www.deutschebahn.com/site/sha...mburg__hbf.pdf but you can exit the garage 24/7.
