Had a one night stay at PH Hamburg last weekend, used the free night from the "big welcome" promotion.

Parking was really a problem as the hotel is located directly in the city center. All spaces near the hotel were occupied, so I had no choice and used valet parking (28€).

CheckIn (which is on level 2) was perfect, asked for a club room (willing to pay for it) and got it without an additional charge.

The room was rather small but very nicely furnished, superb and large bathroom. Liked the bathroom amenities (l'occitane) very much.

Club lounge is an open area on 7th floor (where the club rooms are) and rather small. It was full in the evening. Food was very good, choice of cold items only in the evening. Service was simply perfect.

Breakfast in "apples" restaurant is superb, large choice of all you can imagine (made-to-order eggs in all styles, fish, ten different fresh juices etc.). IMO good value even for 31€.

Only minus regarding the hotel: If you want to go to the wellness area (located in the basement) you have to cross the lobby as there are two different elevators, one going from level 2 to level 8 and one going from level 2 to basement. The sauna area is very nice but not that large. Pool is larger than in most other hotels (about 20m in length).

All in all a perfect stay ^
I will surely come back if the rates are acceptable (had a look for next weekend, PH is 250€ whereas Sofitel is 135€ )
