What are your plans for the trip? Are you there to leaf peep, attend a personal event, sightsee, do the Parkway, tour Biltmore, or ?????

I ask because if you are going to spend all of your time downtown, then it may be worth staying there for all 3 nights - at that time of the year it is very busy, and parking will be at a premium. If you are going to be traveling about, then total price is probably more of a deciding factor.

With regards to being GOLD - with CY, SHS, and FI it doesn't matter much, as there is no CL, upgradeable rooms, etc.

So to maximize points and bennies while controlling costs- your best bet would be to stay at the FI the first nite, then move over to the Ren. If you are GOLD by then. you would get free brekkie at the Ren, and it is a nicer hotel than the others you are considering.

Also remember that historically, there has been a megabonus during this timeframe....
