The latest addition to the SWISS long-haul fleet was given the name “Glarus” today. Airbus A330-300 HB-JHG, the seventh -300 of which SWISS has taken delivery, ensures that all services to and from New York JFK can now be operated with the state-of-the-art aircraft of the SWISS fleet.
Christian, I'm getting somewhat irritated with the gap in between marketing speech and the reality. The consistency on which aircraft type you find on the JFK-ZRH route got much worse lately and it seems that the day I'm travelling most - Tuesday - receives a random mix of "old" 340's, "new" 340, 333 and 332 - while I tend to end-up on the old 332 way too often. By when can we expect to have LX deliver what they are promising?
