I whack the vast bulk of my card spend through a good old BMI Mastercard (no longer available, but 2 BMI miles per £1). Put £500k a year on that and you're getting 1 million BMI miles each year - that is good for EIGHTEEN First Class *A return flights to the US on Cash & Miles (9 F returns if you do 'all miles'). And that is every year. Beats those Centurion perks and the card is only £60 a year!

The good thing about charge card is that once you built up ur relationship with Amex, you can easily charge 50K a month to the card for your business expense, unfortunately, my bmi credit card has only 7k limit, and always have problems with a single transaction over 4-5K. Moreover, this year, Amex offered me double MR points for 3 months, with no limits, which I took advantage, earned me extra 120K MR points.
so I would say, it all depends on each individual's circumstance .
