4/6 LAX-TPE on Economy: They asked me to weigh my carry on at check in, and I noticed passengers in front of many other counters repacking the bags. I had 10kg and they said don't do it next time.

4/26 TPE-LAX on Elite: Didn't have to weigh bags, didn't see anyone else re-packing.

6/6 LAX-TPE on Elite: They asked me to weigh my carry on, it was 9kg, they made me transfer stuff from carry on to checked luggage. They didn't ask me to weigh my "personal" (computer bag) which was probably another 7-8kg. Airport was CROWDED and everyone else was repacking their bags at check in.

6/23 TPE-LAX on Elite: Didn't ask me to weigh it.
