I once again just had another bad experience with SWISS Israel, however this one was really out of line: While on the phone with my travel agent booking a TLV-ZRH-YUL return ticket in Business Class she found out that SWISS has changed the rules regarding stop overs in switzerland. She then called SWISS Israel and asked what this is about, as a reply she got the following "We make the rules under which condtions the passengers need to fly and if they don't like that they can fly a different airline". How can such an answer be given to a client, or in that case even to the travel agent keeping in mind that the passengers in question, and he was aware, are on top of that Senator passengers. Unfrotunately the behaviour didn't supprise me as the country manager is also very unfriendly, so why should his employees be any better.
Firstly I do not think that it is a good move of SWISS to have changed the rules for Z Class tickets issued in TLV that include stop overs in Zurich eg to North America, that don't enable you to have the stop over lenght at least 3 months in any direction. Of course the idea behind it was to stop having passengers with home airport ZRH to purchase tickets in TLV as they are less epxensive, but at the end of the day it is Business Class ticket and much more expensive than Y class and SWISS still earns more than if the passenger would purchase a Y Class ticket out of ZRH round trip. Especially in those difficult economic times passengers need to have flexibility and on top of that you have many alternatives to fly from TLV to North America for instance with most other major european carriers.
Secondly SWISS really needs to do something about it's unfriendly staff including the country manager in Israel who do not treat the custumers well. As mentioned there are enough alternatives to fly to Europe or the rest of the world from Israel therefore passengers do not need to fly with SWISS if they don't get the expected service. Nevertheless a person who is always very friendly from SWISS Israel is the station manager at the airport.
I am looking forward to your feedback and thank you already in advance for your help.

Hi LXA350
I don't like to hear that. I'll forward your message and hope to get an answer soon.
Kind regards,
Christian"
Hi Christian, did you get any answers to the above?
Additionally, I was flying on LX 255 once again last week in Business Class and catering is really a catastrophy, since years I complained various times to custumer relations and nothing ever changed.
