This will not help you immediately; however, according to Houston Airport Systems (which is the operator of IAH and other area airports), the new extension of the above ground "TerminaLink" people mover serving Terminal A will begin operating sometime this September. It is essentially complete now but will require several months worth of testing. Once operating, Term A will then be linked with all of the other terms at IAH via this system. Currently, the "TerminaLink" serves Terms B, C and E.
