I have no problem with card status for FF giving upgrades/benefits but if my company kept the miles and used them for charity or similar good causes I would have no problem whatsoever.
They paid for them & should have the miles but if they allow the employees to have the benefit of them, we should be taxed on that benefit.
Business flying can be a drag but if you are in the right class of travel,with lounge access, that should be sufficient - why should you have foc miles as well?
