Hi, I'm flying Exec Dlx class on Eva Air HKG/TPE/LAX later in June, and wondered how strict is Eva Air on carry on bag weight limit of 7 kg. I will have one carry on bag of about 8 - 9 kg, and one computer/personal bag of about 6 kg, and cannot reduce the weight of the carry on bag to less than 7 kg anymore, and I don't want to have to check in the bag. Will HK Eva check-in force me to check the carry on bag, or let me carry on that bag?

The computer/personal bag is already packed to the limit, and I'll be wearing a heavy sports jacket/slacks/shoes, etc to keep the heavier items out of the carry on bag, etc. Plus the carry on bag is actually quite light, about 2 kg empty. Not sure what else I can do.
