Retina: Having fairly good vision and being able to see pixel separation on most screens, I am excited about this change/upgrade. Esp interested to see how iPhone 4 up-scales graphics without pixelation.

Just getting started on developing a few apps (not personally but via a developer) the additional api's are an exciting addition. This opens some doors without adding size.
