Question about transfer at SFO

I am flying ORD-SFO-NRT leaving at 7AM arriving at 9:42AM and the flight to NRT departs at 11:07AM. It looks like I will arrive in Terminal 3 and the NRT flight leaves from the International Terminal.
How much time will I need to get there (I see on the map it is next door to the United concourse)?
Will I have to go through security again in the International Terminal?
