I was pricing out a flight in economy at the end of August from TLL-IAD. The best price was offered by BT, with TLL-RIX-CPH-IAD routing. The first two legs are on BT metal, while the CPH-IAD leg is sold as BT6152 which is a code-share for SK925. I wasn't even aware BT did code-shares with SK on IC flights.
Anyway, I'll be traveling with a lot of luggage so the bag allowance I usually receive as SK*G is important. But this whole issue is hard to figure out when it's a code-share. Here's what I found on
BT's site:
On Intercontinental flights (e.g. flights to USA or Canada) certain number of bags with certain weight limit is allowed free of charge. If the ticket contains Intercontinental flight(s) then airBaltic baggage fees are not applicable. Number of bags and weight limit allowed free of charge is determined by the transporting carrier of the Intercontinental flight. We kindly ask you to contact airBaltic call centre for detailed information about free baggage allowance for your itinerary.
I emailed BT customer service but based on what I've read in other threads, it may be a while before I get a response. Any thoughts on the baggage allowance? I'm EBG but only a standard Baltic Miles member.
