Well, that person would probably have to be traced and brought into court to testify to that.
Here is that post you were referring to:

You are allowed to regain possession of the items after the TSA has reasonably determined that none of your items contain any prohibited items. They could have simply placed the cooler outside of the metal detector and said 'those items are prohibited and not allowed inside. You may now take possession of your items.'(which are now on the non sterile side) Did anyone steal anything from you? Nope, we simply have moved your prohibited items and you may now reunite yourself with said prohibited items at their present location outside of the checkpoint.
We don't steal anything from you. It simply is not allowed inside if the sterile area. You are more than welcome to return your items to the airlines check in counter and place those items into luggage. Maybe they should escort every person out and tell them they can go check it in or throw it away themselves. Then we really couldn't be accused of stealing your items, as it is your choice what to do with them.
On the other hand, there might be some use to this alone. The basis is in which Bart, our resident TSAer in San Antonio,
according to the search feature, has deleted 499 of his own posts.
You know what they say about where there's smoke there's fire. So maybe you're right, there is some use by just the posts here.
