I just checked in using the kiosk as the front desk agent was busy. It didn't have any of my airlines or promos, but I didn't care since I'll probably be calling the Diamond line next week to fix my points anyways. This was after waiting about 20 minutes for a single front agent answering 5 phone calls, letting a stranded traveler use the phone, dealing with someone who's reservation was lost, and getting someone a cheesecake from the kitchen.

After finally getting his attention, I was hoping to apply the Costco Cert and was told he can't do it until checkout. He did it with a big smile which seemed to give him some solace from the night he was having. I get to my room and realize I have to call him to ask for the password for the internet to post this. I'm put on hold, he must still be busy.

I guess you get what you pay for... or maybe it was the T shirt, shorts, and flip flops I had on. At no instance did I bother mentioning I was a diamond nor did he check. I might try suiting up before checking in next time, I miss the PH Vendome. Then I thought it's still worth it
