3 minutes walk to U-Bahn "Nordfriedhof", take train towards Munich City Center and exit at station "Goetheplatz" or "Poccistr.". Another 5 minutes walk from there. No walking directions needed just follow the crowds...
Total travel time from hotel should be around 20-25 minutes.
There is a direct stop on the grounds itself as well. However getting to it ("Theresienwiese") requires a connection at "Odeonsplatz".
