A few months back the Diamond buffet had yogurt on it. I don't know about eggs; I can't stand 'em

Don't know what the "hot" upgrade costs; sorry. The food was no better than a Hampton Inn breakfast (and there are some Hampton Inns' breakfasts that are much better). I have to say that the staff at the restaurant were awesome, though.

Note that there really is no "oceanfront" at this hotel. Ocean is several blocks a way you can certainly have nice views, but it's 10 minute walk to the actual beach (maybe more if you time the light at Ena and Ala Moana wrong).

I've never not gotten an upgraded room as either a Gold or Diamond, and a couple of those were to the penthouse floor.
