Anyway, it's looking like a typically Thai compromise has been reached: all sides saved some face and the immediate problem will go away... without doing anything at all about the root cause. My crystal ball predicts that things will go quiet until the elections, and then the political heat will start to ratchet up again and things will get ugly once more.
