The hotel is likely operating like normal. The Le Meridien Bangkok on Surawong is also operating like normal. On the one hand it looks like your hotel is on a small side street so probably not directly affected even if things go bad. But, getting in and out of the area could be a challenge sometimes. If you look at Google Maps there is a big park a bit northwest of your hotel. This is a base of the red shirts and just to the west of that park is the hospital that has been in the news.

What is your reasoning for staying at that particular hotel and that particular location? If we knew this then we could potentially make suggestions as to other possible locations.
