2 weeks ago, I traveled with my 5 year old son to LAX for the Long Beach Grand Prix. I used a certificate to discount his flight, so he had to be in a separate PNR. As a result, despite there being several F seats available, we both had to sit in coach.

Plus they screwed up taking me off the upgrade list, so wound up with an F seat and my 5 year old was by himself. If it hadn't been relatively light in Y, I would have had a real problem.

As a result, count me as someone who does *not* like UDU (although I was the only person who cleared ORD-SFO earlier this week at the gate (SFO-ORD the prior day did not clear)).
