I searched high and low, but couldn't find it!

I went to a poker room and tried to buy in with $100 in coins and the boss looked at me like an alien and asked lots of questions and finally said, "we don't take those here, go check with the main cage." So I walk over to the main cage, the teller doesn't know what to do, but the head cashier is like "of course, give the man bills." Any more than $100 and I think there would have been lots more questions.

Casinos in Vegas are hyper-aware of odd behavior. Bringing in dollar coins is going to get you noticed, and not in a good way.

On the plus side, there are 7 Wells Fargo branches within a few miles of the strip, and every one of them was happy to take the dollar coins I had stocked up on to unload in the casinos.
$100 in coins = 100 miles or $1-2 cashback

Honestly.... is it really worth it to lug these things into a casino? I get if you don't mind using the coins in your regular activity, but to go out of your way to try and use them for such a minor rewards seems pointless. It's like driving 10 miles across town because gas is 2 cents cheaper.
