I agree I wish CX were more strict with BA members using F facilities in HKG. I do fly a lot on BA out of T5 and have never been asked to show my card as my BP always has my details on it. I also think BA biz class is way better for comfort than CX.
BA is very strict for CCR which is reserved for F pax on BA and a very few VVVVIP BA members. Even its own Emerald do not have access. But BA give full access to its T5 F lounge to CX DM, just like CX gives full access to BA Emerald at its F lounges in HKG. This has been debated before, but overall I find the T5 BA F lounge superior to the HKG CX F lounges.
CCR is a magnificent lounge only in the league of the FCT lounges in Germany and Première lounge in Paris in terms of offering.
