Q: Will BetaBlue still provide connectivity for our Customers?
A: Yes, at this time BetaBlue will continue to provide a FREE messaging and email service to all Customers onboard this aircraft.

Q: What is the future of LiveTV’s air-to-ground narrowband product, also known as “Kiteline”?
A: Through its Airfone business unit, acquired from Verizon in 2008, LiveTV offers a low-cost upgrade kit and enhanced service that allows existing Airfone General Aviation customers to send and receive email using iPhones or Wi-Fi enabled Blackberry smartphones. The Kiteline GA upgrade kit is a low-cost carry-on product requiring no new installed equipment on the aircraft. LiveTV will soon be announcing a partnership with a leading avionics sales and distribution company to further develop this opportunity.

Q: Will LiveTV provide a new form of connectivity for the commercial market?
A: LiveTV’s focus in the commercial air transport market will now move towards its Aero OpenPort terminal developed in partnership with Iridium. The Aero OpenPort terminal consists of a low-cost and lightweight antenna and modem capable of providing truly global aircraft connectivity at data rates up to 128 kbps. LiveTV expects to conduct a flight trial of the new terminal by year-end 2010.

Q: Has JetBlue considered switching to a broadband service like Row 44 or AirCell’s GoGo?
A: In the world of connectivity, everything is on the table. Our connectivity strategy is to provide a relevant, quality product that offers variety and freshness as we take a wait-and-see approach to these new technologies. This will allow us to analyze all available opportunities for enhancing the Customer experience in the long term.
