My thoughts exactly. Additionally, those seats have a ton of recline in them, and I've found the knee room almost as restricted in UA domestic F as I have in Y when the passenger in front of me is fully reclined. CO's domestic F seat is a much better design in many ways. I do like the UA F headrest when it's raised, but the insistence of the flight attendants that it's down for takeoff and landing, where it sits right behind my shoulder blades is very annoying. It would be fine if it was like the CO headrest that doesn't sit on top of the seatback. This thing being on top of the back of the seat just adds a lot of unpleasant thickness to the seatback when it's in the down position.
