That seems to be my experience as well. When I buy for my wife and me it is usually five bottles of red for me for every one bottle of white for her. Interestingly enough she seems to have a much stronger palette than I have, but then again I am on medicine that is messing with my sense of taste. Every red wine I drink tastes sort of metallicy and blood like.
