Apparently she's slept through everything we've done today. If spending 30 minutes discussing one field on one form isn't in-depth, I don't know what is. This was her response to my announcement that now after we've done this about 10 times as a group, they're going to break up a list of positions, each take a piece of the list, and work in pairs to enter the data into the system as practice and to learn how to do it.
I guess me saying, "Today is the day we transition from system build to training and testing," this morning was totally missed.
I had a somewhat similar experience today. I spent almost two hours training a guy one-on-one. At the end he looked at me and said, "This is a really nice product, I'm definitely going to recommend the firm go with this". Um, dude, your firm already signed a multi-million dollar contract with us. Apparently, this guy is a real pain in the a$$ and the branch manager felt the only way he could be trained was to trick him into thinking he was evaluting our product for the firm.
