Newbie question: I have tried twice now to use my Asiamiles for award flights (roundtrip economy class) on AA. Both times have been unsuccessful, and I've been told by email that

I have also checked alternative flights and dates close to those you
have requested but could not find anything suitable.
I've tried BOS-JFK and BOS-MIA. Is there some way to look up what AA flights are eligible without having to wait 36 hours for someone to tell me that I just plain can't use the miles? I have tried as long as 8 months in advance, and this most recent time was about 6 weeks in advance.
