True!

Very humbling incident for the whole of mankind. Reminded me that the aviation industry has only been around for a little over 100 years. So all conditions prior to those 100 years were probably not considered during design...

From reading all news about this, it seems there's no sure-shot long-term approach. e.g. wind direction changes every day. One week your proposal might work - the next it won't.

I've got some TATL flights in June - July. But doubt is slowly creeping in.

Anyways, 2010 has been a tough year, so far with so much turmoil - earthquakes and now this. hope it stops soon!
