I finally got my miles for my account opened on-line in Janurary. They never did respond as promised regarding the investigation. Sending an on-line secure message including a scanned pdf attachment of the letters they sent me got the useless response "Thank you for contacting Chase. I apologize for the confusion on the account. Please contact the customer service number on the back of the debit card so they can resolve this issue."
22,500 miles posted today around noon, dated yesterday. I have no idea what I did that finally got them to post or if it was the result of some sort of internal accounting but I got my miles.
To follow up further, today someone from the (877) 292-4273 number did call me back and stated the miles would be posting (after they did post

) so I presume I have them to thank for resolving it for me. They did seem to be the most on the ball of the people I talked to. On-line secure e-mail was completely useless and I didn't feel like I got far with the ordinary customer service line either.
