I have a Chase branch nearby, so I haven't tried this, but it appears that you may be able to set up an account over the phone.
Just remember that, evidently, it's not possible to open a business checking account online--or over the phone unless one already has a 'business relationship' with Chase. Hoping to hear otherwise about the business checking--I still want one, but I won't be near a Chase branch any time soon.
Opening an account online or by phone seems only possible for a Personal checking account. Sure would love to hear evidence to the contrary though.
