Holy crap. How many people were involved? There really should be a cap of 16 teams just so there are enough decent starting players to go around. Also, I've got draft software that helps minimize the silliness, including a five minute limit on picking players. All we need is a laptop (no issue) and a projector (rental fee if no one has one).
We had a 10 team league-- the deepest leagues have 12-- and allowed 3 minutes per team per round for the first 8 picks and 2 min/team/rd for the last 8. We also had a 30 minute intermezz

I think you'd be a fine commish. Also, has anyone put any thought into having a life draft and then loading it into Yahoo Fantasy? That's what I've always done and it works very well. I've also got a set of fairly balanced scoring we can use as well.
