A similar issue: Tried to sponsor an upgrade using a single SWU for a two-segment itinerary. .bomb wanted an SWU for the TALT segment and separate SWU or CR-1 for the domestic leg. Called web support (over 10 minutes waiting for the call to be answered). The person fixed it, but I had to give her my MP password to do it.

(Have now changed my password. Since I hadn't changed it since I first got my online account, it is probably for the best that I did change it. Just ticked that I had to give them my password at all.)
