With the number of Spanish companies doing business in the US West Coast, how is it possible that AA or IB don't have a SFO-MAD nonstop?

Apart from that, given the saturation of some European hubs (LHR anyone?, AMS, CDG, ...) having an alternative through the new T4 at MAD will steal a number of European passengers from other routes.

Any ideas on how to convey this message to the airlines?
