Manny's, on South Jefferson certainly fits the bill:

The #157 bus passes right next to Union Station, and will take you to Taylor/Clinton which is only a block or two from Manny's. (the return is on Canal, a block further east).On a nice day this is about a 15 minute walk, which I would do, but parts of the walk take you past fairly isolated areas.
