while you and i have butted heads over 3.4 ounces of toothpaste in the past , you said it better than i could in my opening post and i agree with you 100%. yes, honor and respect every (n.b. every) veteran as if it wasn't for them....but that's not what i was referring to when i started this thread but rather for the tsa to take focus away from what they are supposed to be doing and to align themselves with military forces (or para-military for that matter) is simply wrong. while many of the tsa's employees may be veterans, that does/should not come into play as the tsa's job is to protect me (john q. goalie, member of the traveling public) and to focus on that*-period and end of story, plane and simple

*and to get it right but that's for other threads and discussions
