Actually, AA earns and burns on BA metal Canada/Mexico/Caribbean < > UK; BA doesn't earn/award on any AA TATL, including services from the US to mainland Europe.
This arrangement is almost certainly going to be rectified with approval of ATI for AA/BA/IB/AY and
inter alia the rest of Oneworld, now in final approval cycles in the US and EU.
