Looks like my complaint to Sprint that my old phone wouldn't work in PTY despite their willingness to sell me a plan to use it there worked out. Earlier this week, I got my new HTC Touch Pro 2 for $99 (an absolutely "can't-say-no price that even icurhere2 would be proud of). Had a few technical issues mostly related to synced calendar items from my laptop didn't transfer properly with the daylight savings time switch. As of 2:00 AM today (actually 3:00), all is once again right with the world.

This is my first touch-screen phone and I'm lovin' it but still can't imagine having a real keyboard too. Looking forward to PTY/MEX next weekend with the fabulous Mrs. xyzzy and her friend whose FT nickname I don't remember . If anyone wants to see me stressed and running around like a madman on Friday night, check my next post.

By the way, thanks again Steph3n for letting me use your phone in the P-Club down there to talk to Sprint and get the ball rolling.
