v claims that Quilmes makes an excellent dark brew, and some other craft brews, that are distributed within Argentina. I'll have to investigate that, next time I'm down there. New Zealand had an impressive selection of microbrews, as well.

IME, Asian Beer is crap, as is South African. Kenya had an amazing beer, but I can't remember what it was called (drank a 40 in the airport before my JNB flight). Large quantities and availability of good beer seems to be fairly tightly confined to North America and Western/Northern Europe.
