This was a terrible attempt to support Hilton over Hyatt as $6800 would earn over 45000 Hyatt points which is worth more than 100,000 HHonors points. AND, I'd definitely rate the best Hyatts as equal to the best Hiltons around the world, and the treatment of diamonds at those hotels as MUCH better than at Hiltons.

I was HHonors Diamond for several years, but haven't looked back since switching to Hyatt.
